Product Description:
Oxymetholone is the only oral anabolic-androgenic steroid indicated in the treatment of anemias caused by deficient red cell production. Oxymetholone is contraindicated in: male patients with carcinoma of the prostate or breast; females with hypercalcemia with carcinoma of the breast, women who are or may become pregnant; ipatients with nephrosis or the nephrotic phase of nephritis; patients with hypersensitivity to the drug or with severe hepatic dysfunction.
Indications:
Appetite stimulation, increased muscle mass, increased bone density, increased red blood cells.Metanabol is indicated for treatment of severe cachexia resulting from AIDS, severe illness or unexplained medical reasons. Oxymetholone may also be indicated for treatment of hereditary angioedema.
Dosage and administration
Adults: The response of individuals to anabolic steroids varies.The daily adult dosage is10 to 50 mg given in 2 to 20 divided doses. The desired response may beachieved with as little as 5 mg or as much as 50 mg dally. A course of therapy of 2 to 4 weeks is usually adequate. This may be repeated intermittenly as indicated.
Side effects
In rare cases it is possible to appear liver changes. We should stop the treatment or to have lower doses when there is too frequent or too long erection.
Storage
Store this medication at 20 ?? to 30?? and away from heat, moisture and light. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.
